Steve Cox earned a B.S. degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1982, and achieved the degree of Certified Public Accountant in 1988. Having joined Halstead in 2007, Cox offers more than 20 years experience in the construction industry, including the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Controller and Secretary-Treasurer for International and regional construction companies. He has consistently identified critical opportunities to add to the bottom line, while formulating successful strategies to reduce costs and improve financial strength. Cox is now helping to finance and insure a multi-million dollar development in Orange Beach, and refinance two similarly valued developments in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Destin, Florida.
